Project: Topographical Map of southern Africa

This was a project inspired by Milos Popovic. In essence, it involved using an R script that downloads elevation data, and then crops and fills it accordingly with appropriate colours. With a specific focus on southern Africa (including Lesotho and Swaziland, as well as parts of Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Mozambique), we slightly tweaked the script to overlay South Africa’s border.
